Day 3 - Denver

Denver was by far the best part of our trip to this point. Winslow was, well, Winslow. (What were we thinking?) Santa Fe was somewhat disappointing. The scenery in Denver is awesome and the the down town area is really cool. Hundreds of shops and restaurants. The stream in the photo was right outside our hotel. We are off to Omaha today. Not sure what to expect there. Since "some people" don't believe we are really here, I have included a photo of me doing what we have been doing since Sunday.

  1. You guys are covering some big mileage each day.
Did you see any roses along the way? If you do, don't forget to stop and smell them.
Have fun and drive carefully. Remember there are hot dogs in paper towels waiting for you on Long Island.

  2. Hey- I've been to Omaha ! Be sure to see the Mutual of Omaha Building... (about all there is to see)..but- I do remember seeing Father Flanagan's Boy's home somewhere around there...(the working farm has lovely aromas...NOT)..a museum with Spencer Tracy memorabilia and the very neat statue out front -"He ain't heavy, he's my brother" (I am sure they have pictures of it on Wikipedia you can borrow)
